Core

Edge
The gap between the model's projection and the best available line.
Best Line
The softest number available for a prop across all tracked platforms.
Confidence
How stable a projection is, factoring sample size, injury risk, weather, and lineup certainty.
Projection
The model's expected value for a stat given today's matchup, venue, and form.
Recommendation
The side the model prefers — Over, Under, or a specific price on odds-based props.

MLB

xFIP
Expected Fielding Independent Pitching. A better ERA — measures what a pitcher controls.
xBA
Expected batting average based on quality of contact, not results.
Hard-Hit %
Share of batted balls hit 95+ mph. Predicts extra-base outcomes.
Park Factor
How friendly a stadium is to a given outcome (HR, XBH, hits) vs league average.
PA
Plate appearance. Total trips to the plate, including walks and HBP.

Basketball

Pace
Possessions per 48 minutes. More pace = more counting-stat opportunities.
Usage %
Share of a team's possessions a player uses via a shot, turnover, or FT trip.
DRTG
Defensive rating. Points allowed per 100 possessions.
DREB
Defensive rebound.

Soccer

xG
Expected Goals. Quality-adjusted probability that a shot becomes a goal.
xGA
Expected Goals Against. Quality of chances a team allows.
Anytime Goal
Prop that pays if a player scores at any point during the match.

Markets

Implied Probability
The probability baked into an odds price (e.g. -115 ≈ 53%).
Line Movement
A change in the posted number or price between when it opened and now.
Steam
Sharp, one-sided movement across multiple books at once.
